May day

Today, Wednesday, May 1st 2013, is a Labour Day. Yes, May 1st always remembered as 'Labour Day'.
In some countries May 1st was decided as National Holiday by their own government. Many Labour in this world celebrate this day. Some people do demonstration (press their rights to government and companies), some people do parade and other mass activities.

I heard that President of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will make May 1st as National Holiday. His decision will be valid in 2014.

Each years the situation still same in Indonesia. I mean, the labour was demonstrated from along time ago but  the prosperity still doesn't come yet to Labour in Indonesia. I think Labour in Indonesia have been treated as  work force in their own countries.

The economic situation in Indonesia is not stabil yet at the time. The price of fuel will be increased by the goverment, from IDR 4,500 become IDR 6,500 for personal car, the price of subsidized fuel for personal motorcycle and public transportation still same. As we know, if the price of fuel increase, it will affect to another sectors. Which is it will make the labour feel in trouble to arrange their cost living.

We hope the government will make it better soon.
